The free insurance claims assistance  program is a complimentary service we provide to all of our storm damage restoration customers. The same reason you need insurance claims assistance from our storm restoration team is the same reason you would hire a lawyer to represent you for a personal injury lawsuit. We’re not lawyers, but we know to state your claim to the insurance adjuster because many on our team were former insurance adjusters themselves. And let’s be honest, insurance companies are out for themselves. The big property and casualty insurance companies work on behalf of their shareholders, continuously trying to maximize shareholder value. United Restoration works to maximize our customer’s value, we work on your behalf.
Usually not. In many cases an insurance company will consider it a claim against your policy even if you don’t get a penny. Every time they go out, they count it as a claim. In most cases it is wise to have us take a look at your roof or other storm damage to your home first. We can make sure the roof has storm damage and is eligible for a claim before you call your insurance company. If there is storm damage, we will meet with your insurance adjuster once an appointment is set and make sure the specifications of your claim are correct. We Represent our customers by providing proof of all storm damage to the adjuster, and then providing satellite measurements and accurate regional pricing to maximize your insurance claim payout and minimize or wipeout your out of pocket expenses completely. The way a hail damage claim is filed can very often effect the way it is settled. Please contact United Restoration before you call your insurance company and we will make sure you get started right.
In most cases, yes. Usually, residential policy claims have depreciation which is initially withheld. Unfortunately, many homeowners never have recoverable depreciation explained to them, and as a result they will commonly miss out on thousands of dollars from their hail or wind storm damage claim. After the work is completed, we will help you work with your insurance company. We will provide them with all the necessary paperwork which will usually allow you to get ALL of the depreciation refunded. There are many small details and variables which apply to each specific claim. Contact us today and we’ll make sure you understand your individual claim fully before you call your insurance company.
This rarely happens, but if it does, we guarantee to install your roof per the insurance company specifications and pricing. In many cases, not only do we install your new roof for the insurance company price, but we are able to give you an upgrade for free. Please call us today in order to see how we can make your roof repair or replacement a much more pleasant experience.
Yes. While no product is “hail proof”, impact resistant shingles will make it through many minor or moderate hail storms undamaged. This eliminates a claim from your record and means that you won’t have to pay a deductible. Also, many insurance companies give significant discounts on your annual premium if you have impact resistant shingles. These discounts can range as high as 30% off your total premium for 10 years! In many cases, we are able to cover part or all of an upgrade to these shingles at no charge to our customers.

STEP 1: Contact a Professional Roofing Contractor with Storm Restoration expertise

When you choose United Restoration you are choosing one of Colorado’s top professional roofing contractors who specialize in Storm Damage Restoration claims. We will examine, analyze and document all damages to your property and provide you with a written damage report. After the inspection, we will determine whether it is advisable to make a claim, at that point you can decide if you would like United Restoration to represent you through the claims process. United Restoration provides free insurance claim assistance by real insurance restoration professionals.

STEP 2: Making a Storm Damage Insurance Claim

Contact your insurance company through their claims department, your United Restoration representative will assist you with this if you are not sure what to say or who to call. Inform the insurance company that your property has sustained damage and give them the type of damage (hail, wind, etc.) and the DATE OF LOSS. At this time, let them know that a professional roofing contractor has examined the property and who that contractor is. Your insurance company will give you a claim number at this time, write this number down and provide it to your United Restoration representative for reference and future insurance claim assistance.

STEP 3: Insurance Adjuster Meeting

An insurance adjuster will contact you within 48 to 72 hours of making a claim to schedule an appointment at your property. Inform them that your United Restoration representative will meet them and that you would like them to be present for the inspection on your behalf. When you select United Restoration, we will discuss the damages and scope of work with the insurance adjuster. This includes all measurements, pricing and any code upgrade requirements necessary to bring your property back to it’s original condition, or even better than it was before the storm.

STEP 4: Insurance Claim Summary

Your insurance company will send you a “scope of loss” summary containing the list of damages recorded, repairs being covered and the payments associated. Along with the summary will be your first installment called ACV (actual cash value payment). It is important to review this with your United Restoration representative to ensure that it’s complete and accurate for damage coverages and  Real, True and Accurate professional contractor regional prices are paid to you. At this time, you will determine repairs to be made and products to be installed with you United Restoration rep by completing a United Restoration Material Order in which you will get to hand pick the products we use on your home .

STEP 5: The Roofing & Storm Restoration Repair Process

When you choose United Restoration as your  roofing and storm restoration contractor we will set a date to install your new roof that is flexible for you and your family. Most Roof installs with us are a 1 DAY PROCESS, its that simple. After the install our Roof Inspector will come out to make sure your roof is completed and to answer any additional questions you may have regarding the installation or claims process.

STEP 6: Certificate of Completion

Once your repairs have been completed by us we will send a final invoice and certificate of completion along with any supplements to the insurance company. This will release any remaining funds being withheld. This is called recoverable depreciation. In some cases an additional check called a “Supplement” will be released if the initial Insurance claim amount wasn’t paid correctly and the Insurance company’s pricing was inaccurate (too low) for Real True and Accurate professional contractor regional rates.

STEP 7: Final Payment And Warranties

Upon receipt of final installment, United Restoration will provide you with warranty information for products from the manufacturers we’ve installed (for certain products this will come in the mail directly from the manufacturer). A United Restoration lifetime workmanship warranty will also be issued which covers our labor for the lifetime of your roof. Our Insurance Claims Assistance program is simple and effective. Contact us right away before any further damage occurs to your biggest investment.
